Monthly reset
Credits refresh in full at the start of every billing cycle (monthly or annual). Unused credits do not roll over — use them or lose them.
Deducted when the action runs
Charges happen at the moment you start an action — generating a draft, sending an email, running research. If we can't complete the action, credits are returned automatically.
Bounce refunds
If a coach's email address bounces, the 1 credit you spent to send it is refunded to your balance automatically. Our system also searches for the coach's new email daily (up to 3 attempts).
Free tier
Free accounts get 3 AI chat messages per day (resets at midnight UTC). Credit-based features — email sending, drafting, video analysis, deep research — require a paid plan.
Max tier
On Max, no credits are ever deducted — you can chat, draft, send, research, and analyze video as much as you want.
Running out mid-cycle
If your balance hits zero, credit-consuming actions pause until the next reset. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time — the upgrade is prorated and your new allocation is available immediately.

Credits are the universal currency on Athly. Each paid plan gives you a monthly credit allocation (Pro: 500, Elite: 1,500, Max: unlimited). You spend them on AI messages, email drafts, sends, deep research, video analysis, and highlight reels. Exact per-feature costs are in the table above.
No. Credits reset in full at the start of every billing cycle — unused credits do not carry over. This keeps pricing simple and predictable.
The moment an action is initiated (e.g., clicking "Generate", "Send", or "Research"). If the action fails or the email bounces, credits are refunded automatically.
When you choose annual billing, you pay upfront for the full year and save 40% compared to monthly billing. Your subscription auto-renews annually, and your credit allocation still resets every month.
On Pro and Elite, credit-consuming actions pause until the next monthly reset — you can upgrade anytime and your new allocation is available immediately.
